In this episode, I am so excited to be joined by Brandon Powell. Brandon is a Wim Hof breathwork instructor, musician, professional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Self Defense, and Functional Fitness coach. All of Brandon’s passions are connected to one major goal, using self-defense as an empowerment tool. Throughout this conversation, Brandon and I talk about the importance of reconnecting to ourselves in the modern world, the science behind the Wim Hof method, how breathwork and teaching have changed his life, and so much more.
After growing up with extremely low confidence, Brandon turned to music to express himself while also challenging himself to get out of his shell. Once Brandon discovered the importance of rhythm within the Wim Hof method, he was able to combine both his passion for inner connection and music. As a retreat leader and Wim Hof instructor, Brandon incorporates the music he has created within his Wim Hof practices so his clients can tap into their flow state.
